I failed my test this past Friday and it was my first time taking it. I was mad for sure but I knew it wasn't the end of the world. What makes my mad is why I failed it. In PA, you have to parallel park which is the hardest part. Well, I paralleled park perfectly (and this is what I was most worried about) and then when I was pulling out I barely touched the front barrel and guess what...automatic failure. Oh well. I'll retake it again on July 17th!!!

How long does it take for permits to expire in other states? In NY it's about 5 years, it's valid until you're 21.

Gforce=Troll, bragging about his mercedes. I seriously doubt he has a mercedes, but him and mysma2 are the same posters (get a life, dude). I actually drive the speed limit, but I will not speed, because I have not the money to pay for a ticket.

I'm glad people can put others down for failing the test. I did pass the second time. I can also put people down for not being able to do math at a decent level, but I don't, because I am above that.

Permits expire after 2 years in Massachusetts.

Anyone from California? How long do you have to wait to retake if you failed your first attempt?

GreenDayFan, what do they make you do on road tests in MA?

I have a Taiwanese license and an international driver's license, but I want to get a MA license when I go to college in the fall. Which means, I have to take the MA road test...I don't really like the US system where they don't tell you what to expect for a road test...grr.

I'm thinking I might have to take the test in Boston - are city road tests different?

I'm not sure as I haven't taken it yet. I'm sure you'll do fine though.
