halp! i failed my license test 2x already....

<p>I live in california...and i know this site has to do with school...but i need advice..</p>

<p>i feel like an idiot. my mom is calling me an idiot and says how everyone else is able to pass and how dumb i am..</p>

<p>i am a good driver..but the test messes me up and i have gotten the WORST test examiners ever. 1st one was so stupid and hated me...2nd one constantly yelled at me for no reason...</p>

<p>needless to say, i failed both times..</p>

<p>(also, 2nd time, i was so close...but my stupid wheels touched the curb..and apparently that is an automatic fail...in the license dmv handbook though, it says it is ONLY ana utomatic fail if your wheels go OVER the freaking curb...) but ofr ocurse, I can't say anything because the stupid DMV is the freaking union...</p>

<p>Maybe you could take more lessons. I have yet to take the test, but I live in California, so I know it’s more difficult to drive here. All I can say is that you should learn from your mistakes. Acknowledge what caused you to fail, and adjust your strategy from there. Best of luck!</p>

<p>no like i was doing fine…driving like 3 miles below speed limit (which is also apparently a fail…) but then she yelled at me and then said go park near the curb or w/e…and my wheels GRAZED it…then she yelled at me again and told me to go back…i was doing fine…</p>

<p>ive learned from my mistakes, and am better at driving…but what if i fail again…i have to retake the stupid permit and all that crap again…</p>

but ok so just focus, dont panic, drive like you dont really know much i mean idk how to explain like ur new and very careful about everything?..idk my uncles advice and it worked…lol and yeah idk i hopefully ull get a good instructor this time i got a good one the third time so…yeah lol

<p>I really shouldn’t be talking. I haven’t hit anything, but I’ve counted… 3 near accidents.</p>

<p>You can try taking it at a different location. </p>

<p>Be aware of your car’s location within your surroundings. You should be able to drive a front wheel over a penny on a highway if you wanted to.</p>

<p>Omgosh, believe me, I am there haha. I would suggest you sign up for more lessons, and be more positive. Haha, learn from my mistake. I had two scheduled tests but I didn’t go because I thought I would fail. All you need to do is practice more. Plan your time effectively though so you don’t end up like me haha, I had my permit for a year, and then had to retake it again last month:( I’m scheduled to get my license after having my permit for 1 1/2 years:(</p>

<p>I failed 4 times, and just got my license.</p>

<p>My sister failed 4 times too, has had her license for 3+ years, and is a perfectly safe driver.</p>

<p>Keep trying and practicing. It’s not big deal.</p>

<p>I live in the east, so I have no idea what California driver’s test are, but here it’s basically parrell parking, which no one does anyways – it’s not really indicative of your driving ability.</p>

<p>and justaverage, in cali, if you fail 3x, you have to retake WRITTEN test…and pay another 25-30 bucks…***</p>

<p>What if someone honks their horn at you while driving? Will you go in another lane? Honking stresses me out.</p>

<p>^ Switch lanes, allow the car to pass, fall behind, and proceed to tailgate at dangerous speeds. It scares them.</p>

<p>I call CCers idiots, but no, you are not an idiot (at least from this thread). The fact of the matter is, no one is absolutely “safe” on the road.</p>

<p>I can use the picture I showed in CCislulz yesterday.</p>

<p>My sister is most definitely a safe driver. She actually goes so slow… my lord. I would be ****ed if I had to drive behind her. Anyway, on this curvy area, outside my neighborhood, she went of the side of the road barely. We will call this a curb. Sure. Instead of slowly easing back on the road, this is the result.</p>
