i’ve researched this program and it has shown it is top 5 in the country, do employers respect this program the same way? I know asu is sometimes a under-respected school because how easy it is to get into

Couple of pointers, you are correct the Supply Chain mgnt program is well respected nationally, note also there are not many supply chain programs at research universities. The program has been around quite a while and was one of the first developed, thus it has developed as the discpline has become more well known and a respected profession in its own right. I was on a few advisory panels when the program was quite new and the faculty are/were very good. However, in and of itself it is quite narrow a discipline, so be mindful when going in , it can be better to go in undeclared in the business school, take a few classes, Econ, Accounting, Stats, Supply Chain and see what you enjoy.

To the point regarding ASU, my opinion is well known, ASU will admit virtually everyone, if you can get admitted to Barrett that helps, but you would be within W.P Carey already so that helps. I have known a many students some of whom graduated from Supply Chain who have obtained great internships through Carey and gone on to great first jobs out of college in the profession (Mining/Tech), I was very impressed with their internships and they did indeed lead to good offers, the Carey careers fairs are good and well attended, supply chain is always a sought after undergrad degree, bear in mind if you seek to move to corporate, you will need to get your MBA, but Carey and Supply Chain will set you up well.

thank you helps a loy
