seriously guys, have a perspective. not getting into your dream school isn't the end of the world. think of how many people in this world who wake up only hoping to survive another day...

if you literally mean "die", i think you're very immature

No, I don't literally mean "die," I'll just be very depressed. And its not just "not getting in," its the fact that I've worked so hard with JHU in mind and if I don't get in, then I don't have any other goals to keep me motivated. And even if I find another, then its like "why bother" if I might get rejected from my goal again.

wow tinas, that's like the perfect formula for disaster. If you look at it that way, you'll lose no matter what. Not getting into Hopkins is NOT the end of the world, and you'll still have a chance to transfer in if you really want to go there.

It won't be the end the world. But last night, as I was going to bed, I got this weird feeling that I got rejected.

I'm really worried now.
I think I did get rejected and that it became such a big deal to me that I telepathically recieved my rejection from the admission officer reviewing my file.

LOL NoFX, that is sometimes true -- I had a dream in Atlantic City once that my parents were going to win a lot of money at the casino...turns out they lost about $200.
