Maybe im the only one, but i am soo psyched about getting in and getting to attend such a great (though underrated) institution. I love the place, and am getting more excited everyday

In that spirit i think we should try and set up some kind of "group" or something to get some communication going between our future classmates...beyond just the CCers, i think it might be fun to get a network of people going...anyone, give me some feedback let me know what you think and i can set it up if there is an interest

Oh and maybe some current students would be interested in joining up too...

actually now that i think about it, i dont think we even have a list of admits etcs...
maybe we should get one started?

Intended Major(s): Neuroscience and Political Science
Feelings about JHU: 10/10 on my scale, loved it despite having been to a number of fantastic institutions...its basically exactly what i wanted

well i'm from nyc and i put down physics as my intended major...
i sorta lost interest in the school after i sent in my app for early decision. I started to look at wellesley and u. chicago... But after i got admitted my jhu spirits been rising... i agree that it's underrated but it's definitely top notch

oh i forgot, my AIM is AOBSynapse incase anyone i havent already talked to wants to talk...123, im sorry to hear you lost some interest, i think that our opinions change all the time as we hear about different schools and different opportunities, but i know i made the right choice and i hope you will find you did too, maybe meeting me there will make it better lol

... a very good idea, Andrew. I was thinking maybe having a freshman newspaper / newsletter would be nice. You know, class related news, profiles of random people, that sort of thing?

i think that during or maybe before orientation, the people who wants to should get together and know each other in person before the event, because even tho we are "future classmates" we wont know who's who unless we wear a sign saying CC on our chest (which i wont do). since i actually live in baltimore, i'll volunteer to host a...uhh "Get together" event during the summer when everyone moves into hopkins at my house if any of you are interested. (ahem as long as you have no criminal background LOL) but if ur interested in that, email me (nguyent@umbi.umd.edu) ... and as the year progresses, if anyone wants, i'll give out my number so that if u want u can contact me. anyone readin this afterwards, give me some feedback on waht i just said so i'll know okie?

in response to Tam's idea, i think that would be awesome if we could have a small get-together while we're all moving in. it seems that we have a great group together already.

Andrew- I guess starting in the summer before? I'm sure that we could create an organization, get funding, etc. etc. They really want community, and having class members proactively interested in creating it would be a definite plus. E-mail to the Dean of Student Life / Pres. Brody could get things going? Lemme know and we can all write it and "sign" it.

Olivia and I are starting work on a group and would love to have all the CC ED Admits get involved...if you'd be interested, e-mail your e-mail addresses to Olivia at olivia.helprin@gmail.com , so that we can get cracking, and contact you with more information. Go JHU 09!
