I had a very bad time deciding on which college to go to. I ended up choosing one on May 1st, cancelling my decision the same day and sending my deposit to another school. After, I began having second thoughts so I switched back to my original choice over the 2nd and 3rd. Now, I feel like I made the wrong choice. Does anyone else feel the same way or have a similar experience?

I had almost the exact same experience. I sent out my deposit in late April to a school and then I started to have second thoughts. On May 1st, I called up the school and told them to cancel my check because I had - at the last minute- decided to attend somewhere else. I know I should let things be now that it's been almost a month since decisions were supposed to be made, but I can't help but feel like I made the wrong choice. :( I just wish I was rejected from one of the two places.

You're experiencing buyer's remorse, something people often feel right after making a major decision. You're at an age where you're just starting to make major decisions for yourself; it's not surprising that you make them with some trepidation.

Older people experience buyer's remorse, too, although generally not as acutely as they used to experience it. The feeling usually passes with time, after a decision has become irrevocable.
