Anyone for premed?

Any guys around going for premed? i guess we've to start discussing the challenges and gather our strength.

I'll be going for premed along with engineering program :)

premed! cals bio
anyone premed goin up this weekend for cornell days?

pre-med and engineering :D

w00t!

I'm with ya bseo927!

pre med w/ engineering too.

What kind of stress is that? Premed+engineering. Or are you guys skeptical about the medical profession? Maybe i'll see about that too!

I dunno how much stressful it would be, but why not? I'll try for it, or if it's too hard, then i'll adjust my courses and other stuff :)

premed CAS with double major in gov/bio or hist/bio...or maybe i'll do gov/his n just do my premed tracks idk...i worry bout my gpa xP

I just hope that with Pre-Med AND engineering I can maintain a GPA good enough to get me into med school

yup, pre-med and engineering here too. good luck.

Such casual tone! Ask any alumni about "pre-med and engineering" and they'll think you're crazy. Many people majoring only in biology and are unable to maintain a GPA high enough to get in ANY med school.

if I get in off the waitlist (:() I'll be fulfilling my pre-vet requirements.

pre-med and engineering here too...the difficulty is really overrated. my friend's roomate did the same with barely any studying and is now at Harvard med school, kids complain so much about the difficulty of Cornell just because Cornell admits some kids who are not academically prepared or qualified.

Pre-med/Pre-law; CAS...I put down Chemistry as my major, but I'm thinking English now.

put down undecided as my major, but am now thinking about double majoring at CAS in french and then have another major in rural development in CALS (is it allowed for one to have a major from two colleges?)

How are all of you double engineering people doing this? were you all accepted into the engineering school but also pursuing science majors in another college?

There is no pre-med major. Engineering students can take the required classes for med school and still graduate under the engineering college.

I think taking bioengineering with the pre-med track has a lot of overlaps and isn't that bad. Also, if one does the biomedical engineering minor, then there is quite a bit of overlap. And I doubt maintaining ~3.4 GPA is that tough.

I see we have a lot of premed hopefuls on this forum. Good luck w/ your premed + engineering plans. haha

pre-med biology and society major in CAS. good luck to all you kids doing engineering...itll be tough as balls.

Premed is tough. period.
