Just wondering if it means you got in, since they cant call everyone who applied by phone

well, i think you're confusing the scholarship with admission... at this point i'm not sure if the call means you're into the school or still just a contender for the scholarship, .... but you'll find out pretty soon here anyhow.

No, I do not believe it has anything to do with admittance, sorry.

Hmm, I thought a call did mean you had a higher chance of acceptance!

If you went to an Alumni presentation, then you would be called regardless, but if your only contact with UCLA was the app, then why else would they single you out for a phone call?

Anyway, good luck!

I concur, and I've said it at least three times before here. At UCLA, calling all applicants is entirely out of the question, and calling any applicant would be stupid. It makes sense that they try to at least spend their time calling those who've gotten in.

yeah they don't have time to call all the applicants. I hope you guys are right.

I just got a likely letter, so I guess I was accepted!!!
