<p>Sent in my check with school stuff around 12/12. Should I have gotten an email by now?</p>
<p>DD applied RD in November. She recieved a notice acknowledging reciept of the app. and listing outstanding materials, but never heard if they had recieved those other items.</p>
<p>She ended up calling Admissions yesterday to confirm reciept of all materials (likewise with Lafayette; Colby able to check on the internet; Hartwick sent follow-up letters)</p>
<p>Don't know that they will send you something... I suggest you call for confirmation that your materials are there.</p>
<p>Sent the Common App electronically and then the Supplement by mail with the all important check on 12/24 Certified Mail and have not received either the Certified Mail confirmation or a confirmation from W&M. Has me a little bit worried. At any rate, here's what the W&M website says:</p>
<p>4) How do I know my application is complete? </p>
<p>Once the Office of Undergraduate Admission begins to process your application, you will be sent an email to the email address provided on your application. You will not receive any additional emails from the Admission Office unless we are missing any required information. Any email regarding incomplete applications will alert you as to what component is missing and provide you with instructions as to how to send our office the missing materials. If these components are sent in after the application deadline no penalty will be assessed during the review process. If we are unable to reach you via email, we will attempt to reach you by phone. If you applied at Commonapp.org, you can visit your personal account to see whether we have received and/or downloaded your application from the Common Application's web site. Please be mindful that as the application deadline approaches our office receives thousands of pieces of mail each day. Please be patient and allow at least two weeks to receive the confirmation email before following up with us.</p>
<p>My two weeks are up this Saturday. If I don't hear from W&M by then, I'm either calling or e-mailing.</p>
<p>Revision to the entry above. Finally got the Certified Mail confirmation, so at least I know W&M got my app.</p>
