Anyone get the Willamette Leaders App?

yea, i submitted it about a month ago, and i still haven’t heard.
I need to know!!!

same here… i freaked out when i saw all the ppl getting accepted/rejected and sent an email requesting an interview… a little late eh? it’ll probably delay my response as well, a stupid move on my part.

this may be a dumb question, but i’m applying to willamette through the leaders application, and it doesn’t seem to ask for a transcript. does willamette need a transcript, or are they taking my word that my GPA is what i say it is?

My D sent a transcript. I am pretty sure it said she needed to send the transcript in the app. She didn’t need to send the additional essay, but I think the transcript and at least a counselor recommendation was necessary. She got in with a $12k merit scholarship. However we live in Illinois, she has not seen the school, and we will have to wait for financial aid to visit if it is favorable.

They definitely ask for a transcript on the Leader’s app. It’s after you submit…it’ll say “now we need your official transcript and test scores!!” or something like that.
Send it in…to be safe. :)

historymom: out of the 9 schools that I applied to, Willamette was the only one that I didn’t get in to. It wasn’t on the top of my list, so I still have a lot of other options!

snowgirl just out of curiousity where else did you apply?

For anyone worried that their Leader’s App is taking too long to get a response, don’t be too concerned. I turned mine in over a month ago and just got an acceptance letter yesterday. :)

Like Lacruset, I sent mine out a month ago, and just received a letter of acceptance with a specified scholarship amount today. Luckily, I still have until May 1st to sign away my fate =P
