Did anyone apply to WnL ED1 round? I did and I'm very nervous to see what happens in two weeks.

Haha, I made the exact same post last year. Good luck to you!

Oh and anyone who ends up at W&L should join the hockey team!!!

I applied Ed1. Im also extremely nervous- ive tried to forget about the whole process to save myself the stress, but somehow im back at this site... good luck!

I went ED2, I was too freaked out in November to go ED1. I'm pretty confident I'll get in.

I'm going ED2 as well. Do you think its a disadvantage? 200 out of 400 ED applicants got in last year with just one ED. I wonder how W&L will speculate how many ED2 applicants there will be and how many to accept ED1 to allow about the same amount of ED2s.

i got in!!!!!!! hasnt quite sunk in yet.

got my acceptance email today morning, was so shocked.

wish you guys all the best, hopefully we all will meet.

Congrats! Im sure we'll all meet...itd be hard not to in lexington, lol.

lol, well said.

Congrats! See you in the fall!

AHHHH i shouldve gone ED1 lol. I'm not too worried I jsut want to know now. Himalayandreams-were you recruted for anything or no?

Nop, i'm just a regular international freshaman

Hey- I just found out that I got in...see ya'll next year!

Marauder- is the sport you're being recruited for track by any chance?? im being recruited for track, and i think we met at the recruit trip if you're who i think you are. small world, lol

Ryan? lol is that you? PM me with your screen name.

himalayandreams...if you don't mind, how was the fin aid for you?

no, not at all. they want me to pay around 5 grand and ill earn 1K from the work study thing. so i guess its abt 85% from the overall costs. I have summers off, so guess ill have to work then.

but i think i can negotiate more and bring it upto 90%.

did you get through as well or you going to apply now?

i'm thinking about ED2 washington&lee but i'm really not sure about the whole fin aid situation...yikes. but thanks for the info!

WLU accepts very few intels, but sure aids them well. Can't help you regarding US citizens though. But im sure they must be having some good finaid. Also, if you're good, you could try for the George Washington Honor Scholarship.

p.s : PM Dima, she should be able to help you.

First of all, Dima is a he, always have been and always will be. Morgan made the same mistake last year though so youre forgiven.

Second, in my experience you have much less to worry in terms of fin aid if youre a US citizen than if youre an intl - the aid for US citizens here is usually more than adequate.

oh sorry Dima, my mistake. Anyway, thanks for all the previous help. I think i'll need more as fall approaches.

By the way, Dima, could you tell me how many internationals apply each year and how many are accepted? Any idea? Plus are there any internationals from Nepal? Knowing this would really help me.
