Plz tell me how to be good at Math & science. I'm attending a crappy school and have approx. 100 on my Math average last sem but I feel that I'm still not good if I want to do higher-level math ( USAMO and ACM etc)+ SAT. And science too. I want to join the science team next year and I am making good grade in science (approx 100 again).
How?

I practiced word problems for a summer and the ones I couldn't figure out my sister worked through with me and I think I definitely improved.

You're never going to be good enough.

Do outside problems, attend summer camps, buy AOPS and work from that. If the math classes are too easy maybe look at online courses or a CC for more challenging math and science courseload?

YOu have to love it!

Grades don't mean crap for such competitions.

Grades don't really matter.
What you need is determination, work ethic, and talent.
Buy a book and teach yourself. I recommend the art of problem solving level 1 as a starting point

i stink at math, it saddens me :(

EDIT: chemistry is my subject in science and it involves a whole bunch of math, that weird, thought i said i wasn't good in math
