Hello, I was wondering if anyone got Uchicago scholarship for CPS students. What is the requirement to get it? Thank you for your advice!
Hey! I was awarded the CPS scholarship this year. I don’t think there are any requirements per se to get it. I believe it’s just given to students who they particularly want to attend the school within the admitted class… My award letter said something along the lines of ‘we think you’re right for UChicago and UChicago is right for you.’
Stats alone (grades/test scores) won’t get you the scholarship–my letter mentions ‘academic accomplishments and intellectual potential’ but I think the whole package you present them is the most important: what you wrote about in your essays, what you’re passionate about and your extracurriculars.
