<p>I got the admissions email and the travel plans email but still no packet or invite for the admitted students events.</p>

<p>RadbunnyâŠno, it shouldnât matter that you havenât turned in âfirst choiceâ yet. I called NYU long ago and verified their deadline is lateâŠsometime in late May even. Iâll certainly have my D turn hers in by May 1 - since sheâll have decided by then anyway. Example, my daughterâs state Uni said âIF you select us as first choiceâŠyouâll get a scholarship for thatââŠIâm sure NYU will be the same-since they already said their deadline isnât until much later (they told me that via the forumsâŠso I donât think it was an âambassadorâ answering the questionâŠmore a counselor). </p>
<p>Are you familiar with the Baird program? It includes several things, some of which are listed at website. I asked at the forum if ALL NMF get the Baird scholarshipâŠthe answer was a little âhedgyââŠâYouâll receive information on itâŠlet us know if you donât get it by April 15â. Gosh, this sure is cutting it awfully close to have any time to actually mull over school options. Anyway, it includes a domestic trip and an international tripâŠFrosh/Soph yearsâŠfor next to nothing (Iâve heard the number $300 thrown around). Luck to ya!</p>
