<p>Taft is an amazing place and they have taken very good care of my daughter. She’s thriving, happy and a few times accidentally called it “home.” When you are visiting as a parent, you are treated the same way - like a member of the family.</p>
<p>(and yes - OMG - the new chef is so good I hate to come home to my own cooking.)</p>

My son got off the Taft waitlist too. They called last Saturday. He will be in 10th grade. We are all very happy.</p>
<p>Still waiting it out for two schools which aren’t likely to take off their WL. 
The thought of writing there, conducting social research projects, and boarding school life…Ah, it’s hard to bear sometimes. But I have come through from this experience with a lot more knowledge about myself and…it’s been great. 
(still hoping!)</p>
