I applied EA, and just got an email saying I'm missing my Official SAT scores... The thing is, I sent out these scores from collegeboard on october 16th. My CB account says that these were sent on the 16th, so shouldn't Chicago get it by now? Could this possibly be a glitch of some sort and that they already have it? Or should I just resend it and hope it makes it on time?

I'm gonna call the admissions office tonight but I was wondering if anyone has the same experience?

i’ve had this problem before and my counselor said its best to call collegeboard and fix it. don’t resend right away because you’ll be wasting money.

I called the admissions office and they said they can use my unofficial one for now.
Does anyone else’s school send in a copy of ALL your SAT scores to colleges? I just found out that my school sends photocopies of SAT score reports with all my scores on it, so that defeats the whole purpose of score choice…<_<

Score choice actually doesn’t exist. colleges can look at any score they like, but they generally only consider your highest ones.
if you check your status, in your case probably no, you will find it shows a SAT superscore.

Good thing I decided against flying out of the country to take the SAT again. But yeah, the admissions office told me I could fax in an unofficial one, and the day after I faxed it in, they told me they received my actual one. So I’m guessing it was just a delay in processing, no need to worry. :)
