Anyone hear when we'll hear?

From our good friends in the Big Red admissions compound?

'Tis March, mad ones!

And in the words of the monkey who'd just got his tail caught in the lawnmower ...

"Won't be long now! Yow!"

From the threads here last year it looks like people started getting decisions on March 17th - 10 days left!!! I don't want to wait, and yet I don't know if I want to know either!

yeah, last year they were sent out in the middle of march. i wonder if they mail or email?

An alumni told me they are being mailed this week.

Could be. We heard the in the mail the 17th.

I got my acceptance two days ago :)

Congratulations, Hopeful! Can I ask, did any scholarship information come with the letter?

Big envelope with the Founders Scholarship arrived in the mail today!

I just got in w/ a 56K Alumni Award Scholarship

dd dittoes with Founders Scholarship. So are you going need2learn, captchaos, Hopeful?

Why, why not?

It's high on the list but still waiting to hear from Oberlin.

The decisions are coming in. My daughter got Waitlisted (she didn't really want to go there and I think Denison figured that out by her lack of response to anything). One of her good friends was admitted. Both received their letters yesterday.

Accepted! $13,000 merit!

My son got his letter yesterday (in Virginia). Good news + the Alumni Award, although I don't think he's going.

S (who was accepted ED with Alumni award) has a friend who really wanted to go, but was not admitted :(

Dartmouth, Middlebury, Kenyon, and Hamilton are at the top of my list but the 52K (13 K/year) scholarship is hard to ignore

DS received acceptance today! Founders Scholarship of $17,000 per year. Yea!! He likes Denison and will likely go there, but he's waiting for April 1 to hear from some Ivy (reach) schools.

Accepted today! with 17K founders scholarship

Yep, Cowbell, I received the Hla/Fisher Scholarship ($13,000, renewable).

I still have to hear back from three schools (USC, FIT, and Boston U). So I can't make my decision until I hear back from them and receive financial aid packages (plus I have yet to receive my OSU financial aid package). Then I'll compare. Denison, personally, is at a huge disadvantage because of the location (small town, near home, not ideal for cinema/communications). We'll see -- there's a lot of factors.

And the acceptance letter said I should be getting my need-based financial aid later this month.
