Anyone Heard ED Yet?

I just want to know. I really hope it is today or else this weekend will be miserable. I don't think I can wait until Monday.

Newprov29,

While I agree that the decisions coming out of the Ivies are unnerving, I think we have to take them with a grain of salt. Darmouth's ED apps increased by 16% and Columbia's ED apps increased by 17%. Cornell did not release it stats but everyone is predicting an increase there as well. This huge increased caused the acceptance rates at those schools to go way down.

WashU didn't release any of it data so we cannot know for sure. But there ARE schools similar to WashU (JHU for example) whose ED apps stayed level or decreased. Cross your fingers that WashU was one of these schools...

^ I've been hoping the exact same thing for the past month. Maybe we'll be lucky and WashU's ED apps won't have increased much.

A counselor from my son's school contacted Wash U yesterday to find out when the decisions will be posted, and Wash U said they will be made available "by December 15th." So, not so enlightening.

Maybe today!?

it better be coming out in the next three hours...

tell me about it... iv been checking like every 5 minutes

I agree mjsportsmj. I don't want to wait another weekend. Hopefully in 3 hours.

1 hour!!!??

^ 2 hours its CST

if you look on the website it says it will be posted at the end of business hours on monday... :(

no way!!!!! im gonna die...

link? where does it say this?

Early Decision Applicants

Admission decisions for complete Early Decision applicants will be available through the “Check the Status of Your Application” page of this Web site at the end of the business day Monday, December 15, 2008.

To access your application status, you will need to provide your last name, date of birth, and Applicant ID Number. Your Application ID Number can be found on the confirmation we sent when you first submitted your application.

Click here to Check the Status of Your Application.

If you have any questions, you may contact the Office of Undegraduate Admissions by phone at (800) 638-0700 or (314) 935-6000 or by e-mail at admissions@wustl.edu. We cannot release admission decisions over the telephone.

Why even bother posting them at this point? I'd rather just take a couple more days to add the mail-suspense factor. If the online postings were going to inform us well ahead of the mail, I'd like it, but I might just wait for the mail.

What was I thinking? Hah. Yeah right.

gayyyyyyyyy

Good Luck! Last year they came on the 12th at 6pm... I can't guarantee the same and I didn't get in ED (but I got flown up for free twice after being accepted RD :D).

well this wknd is gonna suck

I don't get it? Why couldn't they be like every other school and post the from the beginning?

no idea... this sucks

omg your kidding me....today was the perfect day...
