Anyone heard from Cal Poly Pomona yet?

sdaneshfar, are you a transfer or freshmen, is there anyone that is a transfer and an animal science major that got accepted to cpp. thnx

@sdaneshfar I got my provisional admit email about 3 weeks ago and havn’t recieved any info on my financial aid yet. I know all of the scholarship apps are due today, so hopefully in the next couple of weeks we’ll find out

This is getting a bit ridiculous; I received my USC rejection before any news on my CPP status -__-

I really hope I get in .

another day with “eligible for consideration”…

another day with “Impacted Plan CSU Eligible”

My status still says “Referred to Impacted Plan.” If I had a nickle for all the times I’ve checked bronco direct, then I would have enough tuition money for at least two years :)

Are you f***ing kidding me?! Still “eligible for consideration”. Guess it’s time to switch into the mindset of attending PCC, since UC Merced is too far and idk what to think about CSULA.

CarriedTo2400 and others consider yourself lucky. I have heard NOTHING. NOTHING AT ALL. no eligible for consideration,no impacted anything NOTHING. Just that my application is completed and ready to be looked at. That is ridiculous.

And I am sure I am not alone on this

You aren’t- I havent heard anything either :/

So… supposedly we should all find out about our admissions status by the end of today.
I got a feeling we’re gonna get waitlisted.

^ Where did you get that from?

Im getting nervous…

Well I google’d “When will I be notified of my admission status? + Cal poly pomona” and somewhere it said that admissions will be made no later than April 1st. But then I went to CPP’s site… "For students outside of Cal Poly Pomonas local area, offers of admission will be sent beginning early March. Notification to waiting list applicants will be sent during June and July. "
Plus a bunch of my friends said that everyone should know about their admissions for colleges by the end of March.

I dunno man, this sucks. How many of us are actually still waiting?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cal-poly-pomona/880542-has-anyone-been-accepted-yet.html</a></p>

Damn, a person said that “Eligable for consideration” means wait-listed.

ckayyyy does this include transfer students or is this first time freshman?

As far as I know, its for First time freshman.

if you’re a transfer, maybe this would help?
[Cal Poly Pomona transfer applicant “eligible for consideration”? - Yahoo! Answers](<a href=“Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos”>Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos)

thanks but no, its been established what that means. I havent even heard PERIOD from them.

hmm… I’m a FTF freshman, I’ve been running around google and this forum, and there’s lots of mixed meanings for “Eligiable for consideration”.

Some say it means waitlist, while other posts say it means that they’re still reviewing and its not a waitlist.
I mean, if we get waitlisted wouldn’t they have to send us a letter asking if we will accept being on the waitlist?

I just wanna know soon, cus i have to apply for housing for my back up real soon.

from what ive gathered although ive not really been paying attention cause it doesn’t effect me (at least not yet) it means you are about to or possibly wait listed. I think if you had gotten in it would have said admitted or provisional admission.
It seems this form is 90% ftf or there parents. Its VERY frustrating as a transfer student, who apparently is getting second choice after ftf; to have and sit read the same questions over and over again. I kind of need to finish college ASAP.
Bitterness aside, i suggest you contact admissions and outreach cause im pretty sure other people on this form have gotten answers there
