I saw the link added on mine and got excited…which was followed immediately by disappointment LOL. I’m just hoping I don’t get waitlisted…that would be such a pain.

Im another ECD link victim. I was like, “OMG is this a good sign?” But at the same time Im not getting my hopes up, it was probably added to everyone’s page. But Im keeping my fingers crossed and wish everyone good luck.

@ naixn92: I live kind of near to Pomona. I live in Pasadena and I think I’m going to dorm on campus. I was thinking about commuting at first but its too much for me. I might as well make my life easier and stay on campus.

How about you?

@Fman10, i live in SF, so i have to live on campus. hope its not that dead there.

@otc2010, i just checked with an admission advisor at the civil engineering dept. they actually did make a mistake in the email. its not BSME but BSCE!

Oh I see… Its fun down here in southern cali your I’m sure your going to like it.

@naixn92 Thank you for letting me know…that is such a relief.

Anyone know the latest date they usually send out admissions?

Are you guys transfer students or freshman waiting on admissions decisions?

I’m a incoming freshman

Has any one heard from Cal poly pomona?

I think the other CSUs have done their notifications: I know that Cal Poly SLO, Northridge, SDSU, even Monterey Bay, have all sent out admissions notifications.

What’s up with CPP?

I’m not sure but they’re taking forever!! LOL

My D got the congratulations/engineering open house invite for Civil Engineering. Her friend did not get the invite for chemical engineering. Has anyone heard about ChemEngineers getting the invite?

@sdflower, idk about chem engineers but I applied for comp engineering and I got an invite.

And about cpp’s admissions… COME ON…

Alright so around the beginning of January I call them up and I asked them when should I expect to receive my admission status, they say at the end of February. I was like okay, one more month… Feb 10, still no answer, I call them AGAIN. this time they say the end of FEB… and now, may someone look at the date, its MARCH 5th, still NOTHING.

lol but its fine, this is still my #1 choice so I am being patient.

Is anyone going to the Engineering day march 6th?

Just spoke to someone in the admissions department… they held a meeting this morning… now apparently decisions will be coming between next week and the beginning of April. sigh

Well… at least now it is a definite date. Thanks man.

If that’s an example of how the administration at CPP works…well…not too encouraging.

my only problem is that I’ve been accepted to CSUEB for the spring semester, which starts at the end of march. Getting into either CPP or SJSU would keep me from enrolling. Sounds like I might not have a choice given the timeline.

Cal Poly Pomona is taking a long time to send admission decisions… I really hope i get in & that my major isn’t impacted (Computer Science).
