<p>NYU is my whole life and the only chance I have of getting in is through LSP. I sincerely hope that emails/letters were not sent out for LSP today or sometime earlier.</p>
<p>They only LSP 5% of applicants. You have a greater chance of getting accepted outright. LSP is not for rejected students necessarily, it’s for special situations including recruited athletes, and people who applied to talent based programs like Film—as in if Tisch wanted you, but NYU admissions said you wern’t up to par academically, you could then be LSP’d as a way for them to make sure you can handle it and grow a little more before you take on your program of choice.</p>
<p>But that’s just the thing… I do not have the GPA or even the test scores to get into NYU. I have some of the best EC’s that I believe a person could have but I’m HOPING that those will push me through. I applied ED I and I NEED to get in and LSP is my only chance considering my numbers.</p>

<p>I applied ED for CAS and was denied for that today, but they accepted me into the LSP program. I got an email from the school around noon</p>
<p>So the LSP are out today! I think the acceptance/rejection decisions come out later :S</p>
<p>Well LSP’s get sent out for a while I believe, so if you don’t get an email today, you might get one soon. but yes, acceptance and rejection letters should come out later; I was surprised to get the email so soon.</p>
