Anyone here worries about having to start college in an older age?

i really doubt a few years here and there matters for adcoms. specially, for intels i think. but then again, im jus guessing

It really depends what youve done with your time I guess... For example waork experience... Or any kind of other stuff that you might have achived

ppl worrying about exams... me about apps ; sat ; essays ; chances everything... boy! life sucks!
ani even more tht i'll have a yr wasted only to bwe with ppl younger to me in the college :(

We need schools with grad schools to have people our age in our junior and senior year!

Hmmm..I'm actually going mostly for LAC's cause I want a small-ish community and good professor-student contact. :p And cause I don't want grad students teaching freshmen/sophomore classes.

But it would be nice to have a school set in an semi urban setting so we can meet people outside...

i also think the same way Izzy] going to the college where i'll live my studies... i'll love what i study... self-designed major and stuffs... in a cool cozy environment...
<btw, anyone="" born="" in="" june?=""></btw,>

I'm born in June. Gemini galore! I don't really think I like self-designed majors...not to the degree of Bennington... That was a little weird.. :|

wooo me too june...a typical gemini... so lac'd be my best match... but since i like diff things together self-deg maj 'll be good hola

I've had some real bad experience with a few gemini boys :)

But the females ones and I seem to get along :)

LAC's are cool, I feel like it's a whole lot diff from a big univ. I'd love a small community but not sure for how long I can see the same faces everyday :)

the classes seemingly are not always seprated. u mix around iwth 1st year to 4th year ( i presume), so i think they'll be enough variety regarding ppl u meet.

and sweta, no nepali. its an intel thread remember

do u guy have aim or msn?

cotton candy: who ?

i have msn, cotton_candy.

sorry i meant "guys"... lol was referring to all of u

i got tht... me also msn msgr

I was just on MSN with a British friend who's a post-grad student (21 years old) at University of Exeter.

I just found out, after chatting with him for 1.5 years, he thinks I'm 17 because I'm still in high school and applying to uni/college next year. laughing

And he's been flirting with me for the past one year. But of course he deflected my "Then...I would be a minor, you pedophile!" by saying that the legal status in the UK is given at the age of 16.

Fitting he wants to be a lawyer, eh?

But I'm just hoping those we all meet at our schools next year will be a little more open-minded than my MSN pal.

EDIT: Doesn't help I'm a short little Asian. In person I've seen shocked faces at that I'm 18, much less 19!

^ well at least you can wear sexy stilletos!! :) man, for once in my life, i want to walk around in the sexy black (or red) christian loboutin (sp) mega inch stilletos..
I'm not short enough to wear hot heels. and I'm not tall enough to.. look tall. (i'm 168 cm..... desperately hoping that there's a little bit more growing-tall-hormones in me lol) My mum said that i'll be this height forever :(:(!!

Strange...I had this idea that you were a male, NoFX... :o Sorry.

Hmmmm...Christian Loboutin? Who? What? confused

I really wish I was 168 cm. I'm 153 cm. If my boyfriend were to introduce me as "this is my shorty", how apt it would be! :p

I think you would be able to wear stilletos...It's just weird when you see girls who are, like...5'11" (177.5cm) or taller wearing them!

You could visit Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory and get stretched a little bit more! ;)
