Anyone interested in switching into Hitch Suites?

I'm trying to transfer from Hitch Suites into any of the residential halls, and as stated,

"if your CAR doesnt get approved, theres an open transfer period later on. the open transfer period lets you switch between rooms/floors/buildings if you can find people that are willing to switch places with you and/or your roommates"

So if anyone from the residential halls is interested in switching with me or even considering, please reply or message me.

Thank you.

dont knock it till you try it

Ahh, Hitch.

Y'know, the living room is such a great get-together place.

Blackhair, just out of curiosity, when did you send in your CAR (I'm assuming it didn't get approved?

i sent in my CAR before the deadline, but later than i would have liked to send it, because i was accepted into ucla late (waiting list)

*Please tell anyone you know interested in switching into my spot in Hitch Suites! Spread the word!

Wait, UCLA has a waitlist? or do you mean by appeal?

Are you only interested in switching into a Res hall? I'm actually trying to switch out of Hitch into a Plaza..

Charisma: UCLA put me as an "alternate", so i took the place of someone who was accepted but decided to go somewhere else.

yahooo: yes, i'm only interested in any one of the 3 residential halls

.....unless theres something i dont know about Hitch that will blow my mind and make me stay

Didn't know that they did that, oh, wait, was you major something not in L&S or HSSEAS?

charisma: musicmajor

I might want to switch out of DeNeve since I'm a transfer and De Neve is mostly first and second years, it might be strange. I'll give it a try for a couple of weeks, and if it works out I guess I'll stay.

But if I did change, it would be into an apartment or place with more 3rd or 4th year students.

UCLAYAY, I'm actually trying to specifically switch into DeNeve. Do you have any interest in Hitch or are you set for an apt?

and hitch is 75% first years this year

I think if De Neve doesn't work out, I'll just go to the apartments.

Try your luck at this point of time.

I'll maintain that I really liked Hitch, and that it had much better programming than did Summit.

What do you mean by "programming?"

Student leader/program assistant events that bring out people to meet each other (board games, movies, festivals, etc;)

^What he said...

Basically it is the attempt made by ORL (Office of Residential Life) to make life slightly more fun for you while living in the dorms.
