I am just wondering if anyone wants to study pharmacy. I know someone goes to a 6-year pre-pharm (2 years) and pharmacy (4 years) program and love it. The important thing is you must be good at in chemistry and biology to get into the program. The starting salary for a new graduate is around $80,000. I am serious, it is that high.

I am not interested in Pharmacy, but if you are, I know of a program that guarantees a spot in the Pharmacy Program. I don’t know where you are, but here is the info if you want it: [Irvin D.
My daughter is interested in either pharmacy (PharmD) or nursing (graduate level). It isn’t about the money. She loves biology, chemistry and helping people. She is looking at 0+6 pharmacy programs as well strong nursing programs. Any advice?

Pharmacy admission is competitive. Many pharmacy schools acceptance rates are in 25 percent of lower. Most schools require two-year biology, two-year chemistry, calculus, and much more. The school I know well is Ferris State University in Michigan, as far as I know it is competitive but not requires two much from the applicants. They do not require extacurriculum activities. You best bet is your GPA and PCAT. If you GPA in the required math and science courses is at least 3.5 plus PCAT 90 percentile, you probabily are guaranteed to obtain a spot. The tuition is not very hight either. If you are from out state but within 300 miles from the campus, you pay higher but not significant higher tuition. Go check their website.
