I need help ranking them.

come on come on

Are you going to be living on rez? If not, pick your college around it’s atmosphere. I hear Victoria and St. Mikes are fun, supposedly they throw the best parties. If you will be living on campus, take into account what kind of rooms they have- suite style or dorm style. Personally, I get grossed out at the thought of sharing a bathroom with an entire floor, so I’m thinking of Woodsworth. It looks nice from what I’ve seen

Sorry if i’m not as helpful as youd like! This is basically what I know off the top of my head

ah is rez outside of campus? If so then I think I’d prefer to live on the university campus, partly just for the experience you know.

How’s Trinity College? Suite or dorms? Singles? Doubles? What about bathroom sharing? Full kitchen or no? Harry potter resemblance like I’ve heard? I can’t seem to find any of this basic information on their site so I’m turning to you all. :)

also, does it lower my chances of admission to the University if I list my top choices the more competitive colleges, like Trinity, Victoria, etc, rather than picking the bigger, less competitive colleges?

Residence buildings are all integrated into the campus. You reside at the college of your choice. For example, you can’t pick to live at Trinity, but go to Innis. So, technically all the buildings are part of the campus.
I went to see Trin, and its dorms with singles and doubles. You share a bathroom with the whole floor. It’s an absolutely gorgeous building though, and it REALLY reminds me of harry potter (:

it won’t lower your chances at all! if they don’t accept you to your top choice, you’ll probably be deferred to your second, then third, and so on. I’m almost positive your University acceptance is completely diff. from the college you’re accepted to

I love the residences of Vic College and st. Mikes check those out…

Is the hardest college to get into Trinity? or Victoria or New?

I heard trinity is most prestigious.

It’s trinity, then Innis, then the rest…

And this is coming from a Torontonian who’s quite familiar to UFT.

Trinity is hands-down the most prestigious College, attracting some of the most accomplished and most promising students in Canada. After that, it doesn’t matter.

I sort of wish I had accepted my place at Trinity, just so I could be steeped in that self-aggrandizing Oxbridge tradition.

Trinity and Victoria are equally selective. As for prestige, I wouldn’t spend much time worrying about that. Your degree will be from U of T, which has enough prestige, in and of itself. ;)

I completely agree with always a mom that Trinity and Vic are equally selective. Both are also beautiful colleges, if that matters.
