Anyone know how many ED1 apps/acceptance %

Does anyone know what the number of applications are for ED1 and how many acceptances or what the acceptance e percentage is for the class of 2017.

Hi Britsmum,

I’d imagine data on the newly accepted Class of 2017 won’t be available for at least a few months. However, I was able to find some interesting info from last year (the Class of 2016).

Total Number of ED Applications Received: 950
Total Number of ED Applicants Admitted: 602

This translates into an ED admittance rate of 63%, which is much higher than the general average of all admitted students - this counts both ED1 and ED2.

Given 11,529 ED and RD applications, 3,756 students were admitted, for a total student admittance rate of 33% overall. Suffice it to say, applying ED greatly increases odds of admission at Lehigh.

Best,

It looks like lehigh has the highest Ed rate.

Yeah, Lehigh is known as one of the best universities for applying Early Decision, especially since you can really increase your chances of being accepted.
