Anyone know the campus?

I was wondering as a future student how long might it take to get from the south of campus (bradley hall) to many of the engineering buildings on the north side

When we took our tour, they said it takes approx. 12 minutes to get from one side of the campus to the other (walking). From what I understand they also have campus busses.

oh wow thats not bad at all, based off the online map it seemed like a lot more, thanks

If it was THAT horrible there wouldn’t be so many people wanting to go there. We only took the one tour and will be going back March 3rd for Bio-Science Day and in April (hopefully for an Honors/Scholars tour). If you haven’t taken a tour yet, I would definitely recommend it.

we were looking into early april but im not sure what housing i should be looking into and whats still available

Check out the “Ask an OSU student” thread and I think there is a little on housing in "Official class of 2016 thread. There is also an “Honors Housing” thread that may be useful, even if you aren’t in the honors program

ok cool much appreciated

My freshman son lives in Paterson, which joins Bradly and is an engineering major. He loves south campus and all the activity. He has no trouble making it across campus daily. He also claims its helped keep off the freshman 15. ;)

My D is in her third year at OSU. We’ve been to campus many times. It should take you about 15 minutes walking quickly. When she lived on south campus freshman year she always walked. She said it was quicker to walk than to take the bus.

thank you for the responses

Theres a campus bus stop right outside of your dorm. Hop on that you get there in 5.

It’s not a bad walk from West dorms to engineering buildings either. I was just there and saw planty of kids biking around too. My kid uses his skatebaord quite a bit too if he’s in a hurry.
