On OASIS?

Thanks.

On OASIS?

Thanks.

I'm wondering too about this. And do you look under the STARS Report in Oasis, etc.? No one seems to definitely know...

Here is a post discussing this earlier:

They are posted in "Completed Course Summary" and "Grade Report" (and probably updated on STARS), I just didnt know exactly when. I guess within the next fews days, probably after Christmas.

The teachers have until January 2 to submit their grades.

Should be any day now then... urgh

Professors, because of the late semester schedule, have until January 2nd to turn in grades. We can expect grades after that day. That's what a buddy of mine told me.

grades are on oasis january 4

I'm assuming the booklist is going to come out on Jan. 4th.

i got my booklist from the myUSC page several days ago

Grades are now posted under OASIS ("completed course summary")

is dean's list 3.5+?

Yeah, 3.5+ is Dean's List and will also get you into ALD if you're a freshman.

Man, I got ****ed by my 1-unit class.

Count yourself lucky if you parents don't read CC. My mom does, so she knows perfectly well that she gets to find out my grades tonight. Luckily, they are much better this semester. Thanks God...

Ha Ha! Thanks for the tip, Nikara. I'll make sure I find out my son's grades today too!

(Hi Nikara's mom.)

for pass/no pass classes, im assuming CR means you passed?

yes, you got credit for a credit/no credit class. although i have no idea how that's different from a pass/no pass. i took both types of classes last semester.

and i'm so glad my parents can barely speak english. having them stalking my college activity...that's just creepy.

credit/no credit classes are those that you can only take CR/NC, and never for a letter grade. pass/no pass (P/NP) is something you elect to do when you could have taken it for a letter grade.

There might be differences beyond that (like for example, I have no clue whether CR/NC classes count towards the limit on the number of P/NP units)

(Also Hi Nikara's mom!)

Someone posted before that you get ALD if you have a 3.5+ GPA. What's ALD and are there any benefits to being on the Dean's List?

ALD = Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honors society for freshmen who achieved a 3.5+ GPA either first semester and/or freshman year overall. I hear they have ice cream socials from time to time. :)

And I don't think Dean's List earns you anything besides a sweet certificate.
