Anyone live in the Cerro Vista Apartments?

If so, how do you like them? I was thinking about going into the apartments because im going to play a sport and will have to wake up early for 6am weights so i want to be able to sleep. I also want to meet new people and have fun too. Im not one to sit and my room and just hang out every night, i like socializing. Anyone have any tips or suggestions for me?

It seems like over the years the apartments have become a lot more social. It’s definitely nice to have your own room and not feel like you’re literally living on top of your roommates like you would be in the dorms. And it’s great to have a full kitchen and only sharing a bathroom with one other person. That being said, I think you still miss out on a lot of the social opportunities you would get in the dorms. However, if you are an athlete, you’ll probably be pretty busy at least part of the year, so it might be good to have a quieter place to live and study.

My daughter is an athlete at CP and she lived in Cerro Vista freshman year. She liked it being quiet since she had to get up early. Although if your bedroom faces the courtyard it won’t be so quiet. She made plenty of friends there.
