<p>Has anyone heard if they received their Cerro Vista apartment assignment? Todays the day, and I’m not sure how my son will be notified.</p>

<p>yep! My son and I looked at 9:10am (I had to wake him up!) and we know his room and his roommates! he likes where his room is because it is not way up the hill. I think he will have a view of the hill (maybe the P). They are very close to the community center which is awesome! He is in Morro in a layout Unit C. Did anyone who has lived here before have that unit? It is on the end of the building.</p>
<p>I just checked the portal and I got my roommates as well! I’m in Morrow section A.</p>
<p>So is my son! It will be pretty easy to get to campus from there.</p>
<p>We were checking too early, after 9:00am we found out he’s in Hollister -ground floor, easier for move in. Do you think being on the ground floor would be more social?</p>
<p>My D is in Morro A too. I signed up for the 8:40am move-in.</p>
<p>Do sign ups for move in get full easily? I have to wait until both my parents arrive from work until we decide a move in time.</p>

<p>No, probably less because it will get more traffic from the CAs. That said, Cerro has the potential to be less social than the dorms, only because you can lock yourself in your room if you want, but it also has a lot more potential for having people over, what with the living room and being able to cook in them.
It’s all determined by how social an individual wants to be.</p>
<p>xximanoobxx, you can change your time later (there is an option in the system to do that). I suggest you book a time you think will work and if you need to change later in the day you can. If not, you have the time you wanted.</p>
<p>Stupid question as I can’t find it, where can I sign up for move in times? Sorry, I just can’t find it.</p>

<p>I keep trying to log on for a time and it just puts me back at the Getting Started. So far we haven’t picked a time because can’t seem to make it work! Any ideas what I am doing wrong? My son went back to sleep this morning after finding out his room assignment and asked me to do the reservation time, but I can’t get it to work!!!</p>

<p>Make sure you get the month and date correct… to log in.</p>
<p>I was able to get an 8:00am move-in time and I printed the paper for the window. I had to go on Internet Explorer to do it. </p>
<p>It looks like a few people have Morro. I hope you all have a great time there! It is a nice location because it isn’t too far up the hill. It looks like freshmen got the closer units and transfers and older students got the ones in the far back. My son’s room faces the P. He will be close to the community center which is nice.</p>
