Anyone out there going to NAPS?

We're just jokin around Rosa. Not to worry we kid all the time.

since you're a journalist, you might be interested in this.

And the best thing is, it's ALL mine.

Merry Christmas,

Aaron Louis Rosa

You bet I've seen your book. From your first, post when you'd said you'd authored a book, I checked you out. Pretty awesome deed for someone of your young age! DO NOT loose your creativity. Keep writing! Well, maybe get NAPS done first.... :) And no worries about Boss. He's an old grinch! Green hair & all! :)

JM has o'deed on chocolate.

Uh huh. Well, i'm gonna go pig out on more of my mom's christmas cookies. mmmmm......

A journalist, eh...you know, I'm interested in that field...political science/pre-law and journalism.

So how much trouble do you think a midshipman would get into if he tried sledding/snowboarding through the Academy during the Dark Age? You know, just to liven up the mood.

...I'd definitely try that. Just to cheer up my classmates. They'd need it.

But visions of trouble suck.

For those that have been on this site for some time . . . don't you wish you could find the post from earlier in the year where a young lady asked about something mildly suggestive. Was it a question about bra sizing or something like that?
The morality police jumped all over her for asking such questions. Others thought she was being a poor representative for the USMA [even though she wasn't even in the USMA].

NAPS06. You know what? You were just having some fun. Its not as if you were writing a doctoral dissertation on the night before Christmas.

"Kidding" does not come across very well on these threads and to a 16-year old even less so.

Again, does anyone know when we should be receiving more information, or when is I-day?

No, but i know a NAPS parent and she said that I-day last year was sometime mid july. I sent back my acceptance letter, but i have not received my Permit to Report package. Also, my BGO said that once we get the package, we have to go to our local recruiter's office to be sworn in as an enlisted man.

Rosa

Whoa. Enlisted? Why?

because technically you're enlisted at NAPS. I know, i felt the same way.

well, that's cool...you can go around school saying that you're enlisted.

I'd rather be saying i'm an officer. but hey, that's just me.

well of course, but you know, for what you're going into, give the enlisted man props. you will be an officer.

True. I didn't think before i spoke.

Cool NAPS06 you wrote a book. I checked it out on the site. Must read, I'll be sure to spread the word about it here in Kentucky. Trust me, us Kentuckians love books. I absolutely like Ann Raynd and if your writing is anything as good as hers you're right on target. Can't wait to see yah at NAPS next summer, or like in 7 months. Hey can I get your signature then? I'm serious, it would be cool to have a book signed by it's author.
