<p>My UC app status still shows that I'm missing payment even tho I sent in a check 4 days ago. I live only 10 minutes from the processing center so the check should have reached them by now. I'm getting worried because on the app site it says if I choose to pay by check I should write my name and social security # on the check. but the thing they maiuled me never said anything like that. Thoughts?</p>
<p>OK it'll take more than 4 days to process and clear the check. They probably haven't even opened your payment yet. Why didn't you pay with a CC? or even debit card?</p>

<p>well it takes 10 days to clear a check. and thats 10 days starting when they endorse it. give it some time. </p>

<p>The instructions said to mail the check with the form that they send you. They sent me the confirmation form in january. hmmm 10 days....the instructions say that payment must be received by 1/11/06. That means the check would clear on 1/13/06...hmmm I think I just ****ed myself in the ass.</p>
<p>But credit or debit is so much more effcient, why not just save the headache and make the instant payment?</p>

<p>"PAYMENT RECEIVED" means actually receiving the check. Call UC if you want to know for sure.</p>
<p>I still got the pound number indicating payment has not been received yet tho gabe. the check should gotten to them the next day....but i will call them on monday.</p>
