I decided to pay by mail. Does this mean that they have to receive the money before the deadline? Because I just finished applying tonight...and I don't think the mail is gonna get there that fast even if I mailed it out tomorrow.

It says on the UC app "processing of your application may be delayed until payment is received"

Yeah I have to do it too cause I hit the fee waiver then found out we had to fix my tax form stuff and it wouldn’t let me reapply for it even though I qualify

Well I wasn’t answering lol, I was throwing my head into the ring so we could hopefully get an answer, but since you paid by credit card it’s kind of senseless now. Although if anybody knows I’d really like to hear it, otherwise I’ll just contact their office tomorrow and ask

It really would, I lost some money at a casino though and don’t wanna pay the $300 as opposed to $60 >>… So I gotta figure out what the heck I’m supposed to do

Oh that works absolutely, as long as there’s time, thanks for letting us/me know man! I just needed time (day or so) to write the explaination letter, copy mom’s fin info and send it. Do you know if when we send the check with the EOP waiver paper that the check has to be for the full amount of the app before the waiver, or the amount you’d pay after? Like… with me without the waiver I have to pay $300, with the app it’s just $60… so would I send in a check for $60, or $300 and they just repay me the $240 when the waiver is approved (if it’s approved).

When I did this last year, you would get an email at some point (and a letter in the mail) pointing you to a site where you could make a payment with your debit/credit card. I’ve noticed you can actually submit a payment through the application site after the fact as well, even if you opt to pay by check.

I’d be surprised if they changed it this year, but the application did change this year somewhat.
