<p>also. are you plannign on just having your own personal quartet.. or go through the school? because someone told me that at brown, you only need one person to sign up for MU60 and the prof there will get with you for one hour a week. also, everyone tries out for him and he places you with people at your skill level.</p>

<p>anyone in any sort of jazz ensemble? i have yet to find out what the jazz scene is like at brown. emails to the music department has not been answered. does anyone know how hard it is to get into bigbands, orchestras etc?</p>
