just wondering

I do, but for the following reasons...

1) UCI has one of the best English programs in the country (2 for Lit Crit)
2) UCI has one of the best honors programs
3) UCI has a good Comp Sci School, and an Informatics dept (a school separate from Engineering)
4) UCI is giving me $9,000 per year, priority reg, and assured housing

Though I must confess, were all the UCs the same price for me (Regents' makes this soo much more complex) I'd probably rank UCSD higher for sheer beauty and range of opportunities (but maybe not, the English and honors programs would make it hard).

BackToReality

yeah b/c 1. UCI much more open campus that is less depressing and easier to get to classes. 2. More social 3. Awesome research (but probably less than UCSD) 3. Competition is still high, but there may be a better chance of getting a better GPA 4. I am a premed bio major so UCI is still good 5. I thought UCSD would be my dream school, but when i went on Admits day i wasnt totally feeling it

ya, ditto what UClippers said. The feel actually plays a large role. UCI has a much different feel than UCSD, for better or for worse depends on the individual. Anywho, they're both very good schools, so you basically can't go wrong with those choices.

One's in the middle of suburbia.

One's in one of the best cities in America.

yeah thanks BackToReality definitely both schools are good

....UCI has In N Out across their campus.

Had I known that, UCSD would have had some serious competition. I'm not even joking.

As we all know, the four by four is the epitome of epicurean cuisine. Strong, bold, and tasty, it is representative of the professors at UCI.

uci is coo

ucsd any day

Theres no In n Out near ucsd??? I know theres plenty around SD but none near the ucsd campus???

awakenedream just likes beaches go to a school where u are comfortable if u liked UCSD go if u didnt go to UCI UCI is giving u $$ though so thats a plus

uci is better, i do too because there english composition programs are ranked very high within the UC schools
