Anyone still in the financial aid verification process? :(

I have yet to complete the verification process because my parents submitted an amended tax return so I can't submit the tax returns. I am beyond stressed and worried that I won't get any aid because of how long this is taking.
And the verificiation status changed from asking for a "2012 Parent Tax Return Transcript" to a "2012 ACCEPTABLE Parent Tax Return Response".
What does this mean?!?! I am so worried :(
is it the same thing??
I still have to wait more weeks until I am even able to request the tax return transcripts. I am so worried and stressed

What you should probably do is call UT’s financial aid office and ask them about this and what you can do. If you’re thinking about e-mailing, an e-mail takes a while for them to respond by the way. It took a week for me. More than likely, they want the transcript for the amended tax return though, but it’s always good to call and see what you can do.

Personally, I sent all of the 2012 tax info around March 14th? because I had to correct the FAFSA I did on January 1st which had the 2011 info. I’m not sure how they handle corrections in terms of who is in line for aid, but I haven’t received financial aid yet and most of my friends have (mostly EFC 0 though).

This is what it looks like for me if you want to know what it looks like under review…

Under “Application Status,” I have:
“FAFSA APPLICATION STATUS
We have received your FAFSA application for the school year including Summer 2013, Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. Our office is processing your application. No further action is required from you at this time. Please check What do I need to complete? regularly for additional requirements.”

And under “What do I need to complete?”:
“VERIFICATION
We have received your verification documents and are currently reviewing your file. Please allow up to three weeks for this review to occur.”

Honestly it’s frustrating, but I’ll just have to do my best at waiting.

Okay thank you! I guess I will call and just continue being patient.
