<p>I was selected for verification for UT Austin and sadly all my paperwork still isn't done
My parents had to send in am amended tax return so I am SO worried that I won't be getting financial aid.
Anyway, Ive been waiting for our taxes to be processed by the IRS (they received them on March 22) and I can't send in documents to UT Austin for the verification unless our taxes are re-processed THEN I have to request a tax return again
So I am so stressed out that I wont be getting any aid since aid is first-come first serve
Is it worrisome that the UT status changed from asking for a "2012 parent tax return transcript" to a "2012 ACCEPTABLE parent tax return response"
This worries me?? is there a difference between those? :(</p>
<p>Those are school specific terms so it may be no one here will know. It may mean you could also do the IRS Data Retrieval Tool instead of the transcript when the taxes are processed. Call the school finaid office and ask what it means. You didn’t get an email about it? It could be they will take a signed copy of the tax return in the interim until you can get the transcript or use the DRT. Call, explain the situation and ask what you can do now.</p>
