Anyone take Physics 7a midterm

Cuz that curve was crazy.

I have a friend in that class who showed me the exam results, and yes an average over 90% is so unreal it's hilarious.

The curve was so hard, I got a B, mostly cuz didnt include units in my work. I did in my answer, but not in every single equation leading up to it.

is this for zettl? what were the results / average / std?...

Go here to see the distribution, the GSI's told us in the review session, "Dont be worried if you cant figure out some questions, the averages are usually %50 so if you can get half the points you're fine." Obviously this wasnt the case.

I hate midterms like those. My first Math 53 midterm was also crazily curved--it was out of 30 points, so a 30 was an A+, a 29 an A, a 28 an A-, a 27 a B+. Every point counted, literally.

That is really stupid. If professors write exams that are too easy, the class shouldn't be penalized for it. 90% and above should be an "A" regardless of the class or professor.
