anyone taken SAT II as stand by, can you DO this?

It seems that all standby testers i know are doing the SAT I's. is this also possible for SAT II's?

yes, definitely possible on a space available basis. But, it's first come, first served, so best to get in line early.

What are standby testers? Sorry if that's a stupid question!

Standby just means that you missed the regular and late registration cutoffs. Thus, you can line up at most testing sites at ~7:00 am, and if they have room, you can register and take the tests that day.

My sister was a standby SAT II tester, and all worked out fine.

In case I'm ever in a situation where I try to be a standby tester, what should I bring?

^ read on collegeboard.com

nothing really, everything's there for you, if you can get in. I took my first sat 1 as standby
