I am just wondering if anyone taking this class in UCLA in Fall, because this class seems to be very hard and very time consuming. Can anyone give me some advice?

why does it seem hard?

Some advice on what? Studying habits or where to look up or how to do the arc from art house cinema to finalized major motion picture? F/TV 188B is like level One Intro to art and aesthetics of film or something. Is it the vocab or the concepts that are throwing you off?

i love how u dont need a book, but a netflix subscription…too funny.

ARFMANN, B.A. ,BARKER, W.L. ,KELLY, R.M.

They are my instructor and i can not find them in ratemyprofessor and burinwalk. My major is biz econ and i need to focux on my major class in order to get into biz econ major. So, i m just wondering if this will be a difficulut class cux i just received an email that i need to read 50 pages each week for a GE class which is pretty time consuming.

Well if you don’t have any background in film it would be a lot to learn to get up to speed. It’s only an intro survey class but that still includes learning (or already knowing) many of the basics which is still a years worth of study to be able to best grasp and put to use. A good GE pick if want to explore the art and business of film if are interested in that avenue, otherwise don’t really know. I suppose I could clarify film language if are confused by it.
