or specifically ucsd to cornell or maybe ucberkeley...
i want to study architecture, of course i made this decision after i had applied as a different major and such but after i decided to go to sd i realized theres no architecture program. i havent started college yet but i want to get everything straight so i know what im aiming for from the beginning. advice?

no, but I’m trying to transfer there from a community college :)

I went from UCI to Cornell. I’m going to start Cornell in the fall. I was an econ major so its a lot different from your situation.

what gpa did you get?

I had over a 3.9. But after a certain cutoff, like 3.7, I don’t think they care. Because everybody who applies has amazing gpa’s so they can’t distinguish you from everybody. Remember, gpa is just a prerequisite. Nothing more nothing less. The difference between those two gpa’s is so minimal in the long run that what is going to set you apart from others are your essays and interview( if you have one) and your extracurriculars. good luck.

what kind of EC’s did you have? Slash, which college did you get into? Sorry for the questions. I’m trying to be you.

transfer to UCI

i don’t think trying to transfer from ucsd to berkeley or cornell for architecture is a very good idea. You won’t be able to complete any architecture prereqs at UCSD because they don’t have an architecture program.

Yah UCI is awesome for sure. Definitely had good times there.

as far as EC’s are going im kinda starting a clean slate? originally im under music right now but i want to change that. I wanted to become a pianist then got knocked into reality. hahah … and I’m in sixth
