hey guys. I'm looking to transfer out of St. Johns and was wondering if anyone wants to chance me on these schools (all are arts and science/undecided):

NYU, Brandeis, USC, Wake Forest, U-Virginia, U-Miami, Michigan, North Carolina

Anyway, here are some stats: 1830 SAT, 1200 math, 28 ACT

3.68 GPA in college/85 in high school. Only one honors class but lots and lots of ECs and community service

I also kinda played the ethnic card (if anyone believes in affirmative action) and have confidence in my essays.

If anyone can chance me on these or recommend a good school I'd get in to that would be great (I also chance back!)

Your GPA isnt too hot nor are your test scores, but great ECs and internships are always a plus, especially if they are within your field of study. Unfortunately, most of these are reaches because academically you are below average. Not impossible though, so dont lose hope.

For the schools you are applying to, you have good chances with all of them. Maybe NYU and Virginia are reaches, but you have a good list. I’m not too sure how being a transfer might impact your acceptance rate though, sorry.

NYU high match
Brandeis not sure
USC high match
Wake Forest low reach
U-Virginia high match/low reach
U-Miami high match
Michigan low reach
North Carolina low reach
