Anyone want to give advice on how to improve my school's newspaper next year?

chocobok: I think you pinpointed the problem. People at your school seem largely apathetic if they don’t want to read the newspaper and I don’t think it’s the newspaper’s fault. As I said, people in my school fight for a copy of the newspaper but that’s because they’re interested in reading and I guess they’re not so apathetic. Try your best to put the focus on stuff that is on most students’ minds and maybe try being a little controversial like others said. I don’t know if this controversial per say, but there was an article about how ‘sexting’ is huge at our school and that interested a lot of people. Make it look cool and attractive on the outside so it will attract more people. Put a lot of photos in it. Just try to step into the shoes of an average high school student and try to brainstorm what they think about and what they care about.
