Anyone want to move into Unit 1?

I'm moving out of Unit 1 into an apartment and I need a replacement. You'd be moving into the fine building known as Freeborn. All you'd have to do to switch is fill out a form, so please reply if interested.

YES PLEASE, I would.

Though I'm trying to transfer into Freeborn from another dorm (I already have a housing contract on file), and the housing office said that spring admits have priority to that spot.

You may have contacted me before. I was the one who posted ads all over Freeborn's bulletin boards looking for a spot.

I sent an e-mail to the Housing office to see if you're a "qualified" replacement. If you are, we can set it up, but I would bet anything that there is some other problem. I really hate this process and these people. I just want to get into my apartment!! Oh well, we'll see.

I've talked to the housing office before, and they said that those who cancel their housing contract are "more than likely" to find a replacement. Though the sooner you do this the better, because there might be spring admits who want your spot.

Anyway, we'll see what those bureaucrats say about me replacing you. I really want to switch out of my room.

Judging by your previous posts, aim78, you're a guy, right? I just want to make sure.

Sorry dude. I e-mailed those people and they said things like, "Oh, chances are very slim," "we can't guarantee you anything." I took a train and went to the Housing Office in person and they said they'd find me a replacement easily. They need more spots for Spring admits. So once I move out on Wednesday they'll cancel my housing. E-mail is useless; if you need anything done, do it in person.

Good luck with your transfer. BTW, you know I'm a guy because if I wasn't, my parents would be doing all this for me. No way my sister would ever have to spend 8 hours hopping on trains carrying luggage.

Darn. I was actually thinking about getting an apartment myself earlier, but I didn't want to risk wasting half a semester of housing fees in case I couldn't find a replacement.

I've told the housing office to give me any open spot. One of my roommates attempted assault with a deadly weapon, and I don't want to be living anywhere near him.
