I have been told that I can only switch colleges if someone wants to switch to my college. It is like on an individual basis... So...I am in Revelle College which is one of the most prestigous colleges on campus and I am looking to switch to Marshall or Muir...or really anywhere. Many students who graduate from this particular college are accepted to medical schools and many other fantastic graduate opportunities. If you were accepted to UCSD for the fall of 2010 and want to challenge yourself in preparation for grad school then... REVELLE is for you. Obviously, I am not such an overachiever but college confidential is usually swarming with overachievers....so come on people! Switch with me!

If I get into Berk. and you are rejected...I will let you have my spot at Berk...so that I can get into a better college at UCSD! Ha...thats funny. But you can sense my desperation....Help a sista out.

(just before everyone goes "internet is important stuff" on me...I can't actually switch the berkeley thing...it was a joke.)

Muir was my first choice and it’s where I got in :)

I cannot stand controlled learning so sorry kiddo, I’d like to switch with you but nope.
Plus I’m a philosophy/ethics major, Revelle is a no go.

I really just know that I wont be able to graduate on time with all of the general education requirements that Revelle has. All of the math, science requirements that do not relate to my major(critical gender studies). Revelle isn’t for me…So…No one wants to switch? :)

thanks for all the support ev! You are my favorite college confidential buddy!

Are you sure you can do all this “switching?” I’ve never heard of anyone being able to offer their admission to Berkeley to another person if they didn’t want it. I highly doubt that’s possible. If it were, there would be a whole underground world of people selling admissions to top schools to 3.0 students.

Solidblu, read the post again. The berk thing was a joke.

Also, I’m trading my place in sixth college to any place that doesn’t have any additional requirements to graduate! I’m an app math/econ major so, if your college requires any sort of math (but not physics), I will gladly trade.

I am not sure…I bet we probably could trade…we would have to pretend that we both are going to go to UCSD though…probably. I love loopholes. Maybe this might work…? I am going to go to campus next week and talk to the admissions peeps. I will let you all know. Thank all of you for your unwavering support during my difficult time. :)
