Hey, just need some input on my transfer essay. Any help would be great. Thanks a lot

Anyone? It would really help

Iphoney: I think you should ask someone who truly knows you. I mean, all we can say is “You should re-write this”“Work on this-that-and-so-forth.” But someone who truly knows you could tell you If the essay is you! another person would be a councelor, friend, etc. If you’re talking about Grammar. I hope you have a good relationship with your previous English teachers, 'cause that would be better than a CCr. Most of us applicants come to this website to find information, or 'cause we have curiosity about what other applicants think, are doing, or did. Trust me. Good luck! May I ask, what school/s are you applying to?

I can read. But haven’t most of the deadlines already?

And I disagree, harvardhop. Friends/family/even teachers tend to be biased, so i think it is best if iphoney has his/her essays reviewed by an objective third part. of course, having as many people look at it, familiar or unfamiliar, as possible is ideal. Also, iphoney should write to an audience that is not at all familiar with his/her work (adcoms). Paramount in these essays is to be able to give as complete, as truthful, and as honest a portrait of oneself as possible, so much so that any stranger can look at it and immediately glean exactly who the applicant is as an individual and what one wants to accomplish by going to XYZ school(long term and short term).
