<p>Why would you rather go to a Claremont college than a UC?!?! I know some of them are pretty good but UC's (especially Berkeley and LA) are sooo much more recognized across the US & world.</p>
<p>Remmert: It's not all about name chasing. Some people just like the liberal arts college experience better.</p>
<p>Plus, the people that matter in your respective career field will recognize how competitive the school you attended really is.</p>

WOT is right, ucs are just way too big for me.
I like lacs waaay better but my parents want me to stay closer to home which is why i applied to ucs..</p>
