Ok, so i know after your submit your SIR you're supposed to fill out a Stement of Legal residence ( SLR) for tuition purposes. Then they say your resident status is indeterminate until they e-mail you saying that they confirmed you are a resident. They just e-mailed me and said I am an international resident and I'm like ***? I was born and raised in Cali since birth. Anyone get a response to their SLR saying that they are a resident of cali? or at least a US resident? Haha I'm probably the only one in here who has submitted their SIR and did the SLR thing already...probably makes it difficult for anyone to understand what im talking about :(

well, are you currently living in CA right now?

and oh yea, i was just wondering, how long did it take for them to email you after you submitted your SIR and SLR?

Yep. I have my license, my job, I've attended school here since freakin pre-school, etc.. I'll just try and it get it clarified with some offical at admit day tomorow. It took them roughly about 5 days to reply. I submitted it Sunday evening

You could probably just send them an official copy of your high school transcript that will show you have been living and going to school here.

thanks, but I sent them e-mail asking them to review evetything again. Surprisingly, they responded in a few hours and told me they did make a mistake and their records did show I was a legal resident of california. So I'm good.

what did you have to send them to prove that you were a california resident?

i never got an email or filled out the slr but it was already checked off on my post signing checklist
