anyone who has transferred or will be, not a chance thread. please!!!

Hi i am currently a freshman at st johns university.

I have finished 1 semester and have a 4.0 gpa with 15 credits.

i heard that if you transfer with 24 or more credits then you dont have to send your sat scores. I want to apply for the fall 09' semester to these schools:

U. of Chicago
Upenn
NYU
Cornell
Northwestern
BU

But my SAT scores were bad. 600 and 590 on cr nd math respectively.
I paid for 6 credits from a state school in ny but i took the class in high school and got a B first semester and an A second semester.

The B will bring down my average but i also have 3 credits from AP bio and 3 from AP U.S History. That will bring me to a total of 27 credits. will those 9 credits allow me to not send my sat scores and should i send them even if it brings down my average?

Thanks alot to anyone that answers.

I don’t think most colleges count credits you took in high school in calculating your GPA. I entered college with 42 AP/college credits and none of them show up in my GPA, just the classes I actually took at my university. I don’t think this should play any factor in your applications at all.

ok thank you but will i have to send my sat scores or do the colleges want all of the credits to be earned in college?
