Hi, I am an international student wondering how benificial would my O and A levels results to get admitted( I have pretty strong results..all A's)

i got 10 A*s and and A in my GCSEs (O Levels) - do you reckon that will help?

i had all Az in my O levels and AS levels any everything…percentiles over 96 in all but SATs count a LOT…i m gonna apply again this year as last year i didnt make it in to my choice places and anyway as i want lotta international financial aid i want a 2200+ SAT so i m gonna give it again , last time i had 1970…My SAT subject tests scores were all perfect but as u can see tht didnt help…anyways SAT subject tests(even the AP) is a joke in front of British Internationl A Level examination standards…Admission officers are too biased to accept tht but “American University” at DC has accepted tht A Level students especially cambridge uni ones perform way better than their counter parts…
All in all If u a american national then doing A Levels is a very strong point for u…good luck

What colleges were you accepted to with financial aid, super_leader? And what A-Levels and O-Levels did you do?

@omega007: All my A Levels and O levels were pure sciences(bio, chem, physics) and math…in o levels i also had social studies geography of pakistan and islamiyat and offcourse two languages(english and URdu)
I got waitlisted by Washington University in St.Louis and John Hopkins…And Other universities like Rice and Lehigh wrote to me personally tht they were really impressed by my academic record but they could not offer me admission due to large amount of financial aid i required and their limitations…U no those days financial crisis had struck USA really bad so many internationlpeople who would have gotten in easiy didnt make it…I got into case western and some canadian Universities but they were still to expensive…
